On July 7, 2026, Best Shipping Holdings Co., Ltd. established a new company, ARTENEX JAPAN, Inc., dedicated to promoting Japanese culture internationally.
Our company has built its business around Best Shipping Co., Ltd., which handles international transport, and Ace Logicom Co., Ltd., which operates warehousing and distribution, playing a role in global logistics through ports around the world. The founding of ARTENEX JAPAN is a new challenge to bring Japanese culture to the world, building on this "power to connect the world."
ARTENEX JAPAN will launch the "JAPAN ART PORT" initiative—a "port of culture" that shines a light on the traditional skills, crafts, and aesthetics found across Japan that remain largely unknown to the world, and connects them globally. By delivering "culture + asset value + story" as one, we will promote a cultural business that broadly communicates the new possibilities of Japan's traditional culture.
Rie Makidao, Managing Director of Best Shipping Holdings, will serve as Representative Director of ARTENEX JAPAN.
As the first initiative under this vision, a collaborative project with a luxury brand originating from Japan is also underway, with details to be announced around January 2027.
